Dungeons and Dragons – Trussville Public Library

Join us at the Trussville Public Library for a classic RPG experience. We will be playing Dungeons and Dragons. This is tabletop game about creativity and working together to achieve goals. This session will be good for new players as well as veterans. The event is open to anyone ages 11-18. All supplies will be provided. If you like video games, adventure, or fantasy novels then this is worth checking out.

This new book profiles the amazing exploits of Civil War colonel/hero and entrepreneur for whom Ft. Rucker is named. It is a lively account, painstakingly researched, that recovers for a new generation of readers the fascinating story of Edmund Rucker's life. Friends of Trussville Public Library is hosting the literary reading event, In Our Own Words, that allows local authors, published or unpublished, to join in celebration of their works. Join us Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Trussville Public Library Auditorium to hear and be heard. To register to read your work, please call 655-7694 by 9/3/19. Reading time is eight minutes or less and the material must be family friendly. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
